We conduct quarterly follow-ups with our ingredient producers to ensure they adhere to safe practices for preventing cross-contamination.
-Are they made in a shared facility?
No, our products are made in a dedicated facility that is not shared with any other company. Only Free and Simple Foods products are produced there.
-What are tigernuts?
Tiger nuts, despite their name, are not actually nuts. They are small root vegetables or tubers from the plant Cyperus esculentus, also known as chufa or earth almonds. Tiger nuts have been cultivated for thousands of years, particularly in ancient Egypt and parts of Africa.
-Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, all of our products are completely gluten-free.
-What is agar?
Agar is a gelatinous substance derived from red algae, particularly species of the genera Gelidium and Gracilaria. It has been used for centuries in Asian cuisine, especially in Japan, as a thickening agent
-Are your products vegan?
Yes, our products are vegan. They contain zero animal-derived ingredients.
